Last weekend Margaux got to play with her little buddy Sophia two nights in a row. She was pumped. Sophia will be three in May and she is one of the brightest children I've ever known. On Saturday we carpooled to Nashville for a friends Birthday dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. I haven't been to the Cheesecake Factory since before I was pregnant with Margaux, and Matt heard the magic words "Cheesecake" and was in.
On the way to Nashville Sophia asked to hold her Daddy's hand, but he was driving so we suggested she ask to hold Margaux's hand. And that is just what they did off and on the whole ride to Nashville.

Margaux’s Christmas Program
Her class sang Deck the Halls and
Margaux was not a happy performer. She was standing there like a zombie and I
stood up to take a picture. She got a glimpse of Momma and then… started to
bawling and pointing for her Momma. It was hilarious.
Margaux has been doing so well at
Preschool. She loves her teacher and she will holler out “Leslie” when you talk
about her going to school. I used to leave her in a crying mess, now you set
her down and she runs off to sit at the table and play with the other kids. She
will look and waive and say “bye bye Momma” and blow me a kiss. She’s such a
big girl now.
Gut wrenching performance of Deck the Halls. |

A tad bit late
So it’s long over due because next
week is the beginning of February, but here is the post about our Christmas. I
had a HORRIBLY stressful Christmas this year. My sister and her family were in
from out of town and although I enjoy seeing my niece and nephews it is always
a little tough running back and forth to see them. And then there is the normal
Holiday shin-digs and get-togethers that take place. It was too much this year.
I will not have another Christmas like this one again if I can help it. On top
of it all… My parents lost their precious dachshund on Christmas day.
Marguax had a great Christmas. She
loved her gifts. She hated Santa. She pointed at him and said, “NO” “no no” and
“don’t touch”. She did learn to say “Ho Ho Ho” by the end of it all. She had
the best time playing with the family and getting to stay up later than usual.
Here are some pictures of her from
the Holidays.

while your waiting for a good blog
I know, I know. I really am behind and I haven't even posted any Christmas info yet, but I've been super busy. Then sick with the terrible stomach bug that is going around. Then busy again. I'll get to it soon. Promise!
