Well, baby Elyza is finally here. My best friend Beth's baby girl has arrived. She was 7 lb 6 oz and 19.5 inches long. Elyza was fashionably late. She has beautiful dark hair, and she and Mommy are doing fine. Beth has now joined a the small number of folks that I know that have had a good inducement story. Many of the people I know that were induced ended up with C-sections. Beth did really well and she and baby are getting settled in. Margaux, Matt and I went to visit her in the hospital in Nashville. Margaux was good for the most part. She was unaware of the baby until the baby cried. Then she would stare at her and look very concerned and confused. She and Elyza are going to have the best time together!
